QUALIFICATION World Championship (Friday)
Section: From Hotel Kilian to the last rapid before Bloody Hands Rapid (as always)
Who: All athletes, starting from number 1 on the starting bibs

SEMIFINAL World Championship (Saturday)
Section: Stairs Rapid
Who: Top 10 YOUNGSTERS from qualification, top 10 MASTERS from qualification, top 10 OPEN women from qualification, top 30 OPEN men from qualification

 

FINAL World Championship (Saturday)
Section: Stairs Rapid
Who: Top 5 YOUNGSTERS from semifinal, top 5 MASTERS from semifinal, top 5 OPEN women from semifinal, top 15 OPEN men from semifinal

DAM TO DAM Independent Long Race (Saturday)
The mass start is just below the Lipno Dam.
Group 1: OPEN men, MASTERS, YOUNGSTERS – One category, start together.
Everyone must pass between the banners on the left side of the river before the Window Rapid. The first 20 kayakers will continue to the main finish, which is near the take-out from the river at the level of FINISH flag.

Group 2: OPEN women – Start together.
Finish is between the banners on the left side of the river before the Window Rapid.

There may be changes to the rules and the number of finalists according to the number of registered competitors!

COMPETITORS​

  • Each competitor must be a confident WW V kayaker.

  • Each competitor must have individual health insurance.

  • All competitors compete at their own risk.

  • The number of competitors in the OPEN men category is limited to 100.

  • The OPEN women category will be open if there are at least 5 athletes.

  • Each competitor under 18 years old must have a signed authorization from a parent or guardian; otherwise, they cannot start!

 

KAYAK AND KAYAK GEAR

  • Kayaks must be made of PE or HTP plastic.

  • Maximum length: 275 cm (9 feet).

  • Minimum weight: 20 kg for the Men category and 18 kg for the Women category.

  • Each competitor must have a throw bag and airbags in the kayak.

  • Each competitor must wear a helmet conforming to EN1385.

  • Each competitor must wear a life jacket conforming to EN393 Norm or ISO 12402-5 Norm.
